Learn to play the way you always wanted.

Piano lessons for children and adults, from the very first note to conservatory level. Our teachers trained at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and still perform. No pressure, real progress — and a teacher who fits you.

For whom

For anyone who wants to play. At any age.

  • Children

From about six. Playing comes first, but the foundations are serious: posture, sound, listening. Parents read what happened after every lesson.

  • Teens

Exams, auditions, or simply your own music. We build technique without taking the fun out of it.

  • Adults

Beginner, or starting again after years. Evening lessons, at your own pace, with music you actually want to play.

How it works

Three steps. No waiting-list feeling.

You tell us who you are, we suggest a teacher, and then you have a fixed moment in the week. That is it.

How it works

  1. Tell us who you are

Two minutes, a few questions. For yourself or for your child.

  2. We suggest a teacher

You'll hear from us within two working days, with a teacher who fits and a proposal for a trial lesson.

  3. Weekly lessons, at your own pace

A fixed moment in the week. What's on the music stand, you decide together with your teacher.

What you get

Lessons the way they should be.

  • Independent teachers

Your teacher belongs to themselves: their own students, their own price. The house charges a fixed room fee, not a cut of your lesson.

  • Real pianos

Lessons in our rooms, on a grand or a good upright. Instruments you actually want to sit down at.

  • More than notes

Theory, harmony, ear training and sight-reading come along in the lesson — without it turning into school.

  • A summary after every lesson

What we did, which piece, what the homework is: two minutes, straight into your timeline. Parents read along; the teacher picks up exactly where you left off.

  • Playing for each other

Living-room concerts and open practice hours. Small, warm, no stage fright.

  • Price on request, never a surprise

Every teacher sets their own price. You hear it before the trial lesson. Lessons for under-21s are VAT-free.

Questions

What people ask us.

Do I need a piano at home?

A piano or a good digital piano with weighted keys is enough to practise. No instrument? You can rent a room by the hour with us to study.

How long is a lesson?

30, 45 or 60 minutes — you choose with your teacher. Children usually start with 30, adults with 45 or 60.

Can I switch teachers?

Yes. If it does not click, just say so. We suggest someone else, no fuss.

What does it cost?

Every teacher sets their own price; you hear it before the trial lesson, so no surprises. Lessons for students under 21 are VAT-free.

Do you also teach in English?

Yes — and in Portuguese and Spanish. You choose the language in the quiz.

Tell us who you are.

Two minutes, a few questions. Within two working days we suggest a teacher.
