The studio

Come practise. Come rehearse. Come record.

A recording room that's ready when you are. Rooms you rent by the hour, with a grand, a good upright or digital pianos. For musicians, bands, singers and conservatory students, in a city where even conservatory students struggle to find a place to record.

How booking works

Recording

The mics are already up. All you have to do is play.

The overheads are up, the camera is set, the light is right. You walk in, press record and go home with a clean take. No engineer needed. Want one later after all? We'll arrange it.

  • Ready to go

Mics and camera are preset. Nothing to set up, nothing to dial in.

  • Who it's for

Conservatory students, bands, singers and producers. Anyone who needs a clean take.

  • What you take home

A clean audio and video file. The same day.

For auditions, conservatory applications, demos and video. For anyone who wants to sound good without hiring a whole studio.

Practising and rehearsing

Four rooms. For an hour, or a whole morning.

With a grand, a good upright, a lab with digital pianos or a small booth. You book a room, close the door and get to work.

  • Grand piano

    Zaal 1

The big room, with variable acoustics. Heavy curtains and movable panels let you open it up for classical playing and ensembles, or damp it down for a tight rehearsal.

  • Upright piano

    Zaal 2

A good acoustic upright in a quiet room. For your daily hour of practice.

  • Digital pianos

    Lab

Several digital pianos side by side, with headphones. For small groups, theory and production.

  • Quiet booth

    Booth

Small and dry, built for pop vocals and production. No room sound in the way, so what you sing is what you get.

Acoustics

Two very different rooms on purpose. The big room changes character with its curtains and panels, from open and singing to close and controlled. The booth stays dry, so vocals and production sit exactly where you put them.

The rhythm of the house

Mornings are the quietest hours in the house. If you want to work undisturbed, that is your window. Evenings are busier, so book those a little further ahead.

How booking works

Soon you'll book it yourself, in the app.

Until then, just email us. This is the plan.

  1. Create an account

Free, in a minute. For yourself or for your band.

  2. Pick a room and a time

The app shows you what's free. Members book first. Rehearsals and recordings can be planned up to three weeks ahead.

  3. Walk in with your code

Every booking will come with its own door code. No key, no waiting.

Cancelling

Cancel free of charge up to 36 hours ahead for lessons and rooms, and up to 72 hours ahead for recordings. Can't make it? You can also send someone in your place, and the room stays yours.

Membership

Twelve euro a year makes this your house too.

Membership is how the studio holds together. Members know each other, play for each other and keep the rooms alive. It costs 12 euro a year.

  • Member evenings

House concerts, open mics and listening sessions, for members and the people they bring.

  • First in line

When an hour is full, members are the first to be called when it frees up.

  • Ten percent off rooms

A small thank you on every hour you book.
